Ryan 'Fenrir' McIntire
Goði
I've always been drawn to the world just beyond our understanding—where myth, memory, and magic intertwine. Raised on the stories of gods and heroes, I spent my early adulthood searching across different paths for truth and connection. It wasn’t until my 30s that I heard the unmistakable voice of Tyr, steady and unwavering, and committed myself fully to the Norse gods.
What began as sharing poetry, prayer, and ritual among friends soon became a deeper calling. Leading small circles awakened in me a sense of responsibility—not just to the gods, but to the people walking this path beside me. In becoming Goði, I found purpose in service: to be a voice for the gods, a hand extended to my Kindred, and a steward of our sacred bond.
In our community, I plan and lead services, guide our liturgical calendar, offer blessings and personal prayers, and serve as an intercessor between the gods and our people when called to do so. I also help those seeking meaning in visions, dreams, and divine moments.
I come from the Midwest, the child of a hardworking family, and trained as a performer and stuntman before working as a professor. Today, I’m a project manager by trade—but my truest work is here, among the Kindred.
When I’m not leading ritual, you’ll find me with my family and dogs, working on the yard, riding my Harley, enjoying a good cigar and ale, or unwinding with games like Civilization or Cities: Skylines.
At Úlfsalhöll—our Wolf’s Lodge—I strive to build a place where courage, reverence, and connection thrive. The gods live among us, and it’s an honor to walk with those who seek them.
