Our Holy Days
At Úlfsalhöll, we follow a sacred rhythm rooted in both Norse Heathen and Hellenic/Chthonic traditions. These holidays honor the cycles of the sun and moon, the changing seasons, and our ongoing relationships with the gods, spirits, and ancestors.
We blend historical festivals with modern observances to create a living calendar. Some dates follow the moon, others follow the sun, and all are shaped by devotion, community, and meaning.
Major Hellenic & Chthonic Holidays
Noumenia & Hekate’s Deipnon (New Moon & Dark Moon each month)
Monthly rites of renewal and connection with the household gods and the dead.Thesmophoria (Autumn, lunar-timed)
A women’s festival honoring Demeter and Persephone, focused on fertility and harvest.Anthesteria (Spring, lunar-timed)

What To Expect
Here's what a typical service is like with our Kindred.
Everyone is welcome — Whether you're Norse Pagan, Hellenic, another path, or just exploring, you're welcome in our circle.
We begin with a horn and a call to gather — It sets the tone and brings our focus to the sacred work ahead.
The Goði and Priestess guide the service — Through storytelling, prayer, ritual, and reflection, drawing from Norse and Hellenic traditions.
We honor the gods, the ancestors, and the land — Through word, song, and offerings.
Community participation is encouraged — You’re invited to join in responses, share a toast or story, or just observe quietly.
There are moments of silence and moments of joy — Some parts are meditative, others are full of laughter, howls, and applause.
Families and children are welcome — Many of our members bring their little ones, and we make space for them to be part of the community.
No experience required — We provide guidance throughout, and you’re never expected to know everything.
A feast or fellowship follows — Stick around, share a meal, and get to know your Kindred.
